Welcome to the Huda Math Lab

Grab a pencil. We tackle the hardest problems every week.

Huda Math Lab is an initiative to teach Muslim students (grades 6+) how they can use very simple Math concepts to build real projects. The program is currently designed to be 2 terms, with each term being 8 weeks long and having 16 sessions. Each term will culminate in a final project where students will see how what they learn in the club can be used in real life (there will also be smaller projects spread throughout the curriculum!) The first term project will be using data analysis techniques with graphs to optimize egg drop designs, whereas the second term project will be using similar techniques to optimize a real, go cart size car for different types of races (students will not be riding it!).

Cost per term is $295. This covers a 8 week term (which is 16 sessions long), includes food everyday, and project supplies (a human sized car!). This comes out to $18 per session!

Program dates

Term 1 will start September 21th and run until November 18th
Term 2 will start November 21th and run until February 15th

Both terms will be after school, Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at Huda Upper School

It is highly recommended to register for both sessions. There is a limit of 20 students per session so please register as soon as possible!

Lectures

Lectures are going to be seminars held at Huda School where we bring professionals and researches who use Math everyday to show students that Math really is useful! Lectures are open to everyone! Both students (and parents) enrolled or not, are welcome!
